Miami Vice? Miami Nice?.......

Well not so much for the crew of Enee Marie. Scott called me yesterday around 4:30 sounding VERY sad. They had a great sail down to Miami from Fort Lauderdale, sailing all the way. When they got down there however and tried to start the engine they were a no go. The engine just wouldn't start! So they had to call in for a tow (always Scott's favorite thing to do) and apparently this was quite the adventure just to be found by the towing guys.

Eric (Erik?) from Stem to Stern is on his way down to Miami to check out the engine. Apparently it's leaking oil which is one of the problems. This morning Scott called to say he thinks he knows why the engine is not starting. Something about the plunger? I know nothing about engines so that's about all I know.

Hopefully they can get the engine problems fixed soon and they can be on their way to the keys. Stay tuned for more details from Scott as he just wanted me to alert you to his unfortunate situation.

What do you need an engine for? Its a sailboat> I remember a time when men were men and if we needed to dock we just went in under our sky sails or topgallants. You young people.

Seriously man - I hope you get this behind you. This is probably getting frustrating.

Sorry about your bad luck you guys. If you need anything, you know how to reach us. Got your car to our house just fine. Safely stowed in our back parking area. If you need your car in Miami we can bring it to you no problem. The Florida Glades

I guess that's why they call it a "shakedown cruise". Apparently, a few things shook down! Keep the faith you two, Key West is just around the corner. Really. No foolin.

The suspense is killing me. What happened to the engine? This is better than a mystery novel. Did Gracie sabotage your engine or did the butler do it. You'll have to write a book one of these days.

Or is Gracie helplessly wandering the streets of Miami. Left to fend for herself as Sue sits in lock-up while they search for Scott's missing body. Could he be at the bottom of the harbor anchored down by the dreaded engine? Oh the mystery of it all!

I think the Captain & TaneelSue are purposely not updating us because they like having us post comments. I can hear them saying..."Yaayyaa, your turn to entertain us, you Swabbies!...Arghhh!"
